Connecticut High School Basketball - Terryville knocked off by Granby Memorial
January 25, 2024: Granby, CT 06035 The Granby Memorial Bears basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Terryville Kangaroos to 37 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Suffield for a North Central Connecticut contest on Tuesday, January 30. Granby Memorial will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-51 league win over Canton (Canton, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-2.
The Kangaroos (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT). The Highlanders enter the Berkshire contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Northwestern Regional was defeated by Thomaston (Thomaston, CT), 46-42, in a league contest.
