January 25, 2024: Huron, SD 57350 James Valley Christian Vikings (Huron, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD), 53-50 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD) in a B Region 2 game, on Saturday, January 27. James Valley Christian will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 66-54 league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD).
With the defeat, Miller moves to 8-3 on the year. The Rustlers travel to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD) to face the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, January 27. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 9-3. Wessington Springs won 51-41 in their recent non-league game against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)
