January 25, 2024: North Branch, MN 55056 The Little Falls Flyers (Little Falls, MN) basketball nipped the host North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), 44-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Flyers (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN). The Otters go into the AAA Section 8 test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Fergus Falls got by Rocori (Cold Spring, MN), 61-46, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Cloquet for a AAA Section 7 test on Saturday, January 27. North Branch will encounter a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 77-73 non-league loss to Marshall (Duluth, MN). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 10-9.
