Indiana High School Basketball - Seymour overwhelms New Albany
January 25, 2024: New Albany, IN 47150 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Seymour Owls (Seymour, IN) and the host New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN), saw Seymour's basketball squad wallop New Albany by a tally of 79-50.
With the victory, Seymour improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Jennings County (North Vernon, IN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 21-3. Jennings County won 51-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin Community (Franklin, IN)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. New Albany will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 57-41 non-league win over Borden (Borden, IN).
