The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the host Narrows Green Waves to 28 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Eastern Montgomery will battle a Chargers team coming off a 38-33 non-league loss to Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Chargers record now stands at 2-6.

The Green Waves (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Giles edged Auburn (Riner, VA), 38-23, in a non-league contest.
