With the victory, Santa Paula improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Carpinteria (Carpinteria, CA) to confront the Warriors in a challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 26. Rio Mesa will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 11-14 record after their 47-44 league loss to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA).
