January 25, 2024: Windermere, FL 34786 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Windermere Wolverines (Windermere, FL) and the visiting South Lake Eagles (Groveland, FL), saw Windermere's basketball squad wallop South Lake by a tally of 80-36.
With the victory, Windermere improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, FL) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Lake Highland Prep won 55-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Dr. Phillips (Orlando, FL)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lake Minneola Hawks (Minneola, FL) in a challenge, on Friday, January 26. South Lake will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 63-49 non-league loss to Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs, FL).
