The Clear Lake Lions basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Grand View Christian Thunder to 49 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 16-0 record. They play next when they host Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Clear Lake will confront a team coming off a 72-58 league loss to Newman AAA (Boston, MA). The record now stands at 159-295.

With the loss, Grand View Christian falls to 15-1 on the campaign. The Thunder host Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 7-8.
