January 25, 2025: Mediapolis, IA 52637 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA) and the host Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA), observed Columbus's basketball team edge Mediapolis by a margin of 52-45.
The Sailors (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA). The Regents come into the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Waterloo Christian was tipped by Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA), 66-59, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Mediapolis will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 78-65 league loss to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA).
