North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman Christian trounced by Corvian Community

The Lake Norman Christian Lions basketball squad (Davidson, NC), was crushed 87-52 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC)

With the victory, Corvian Community advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC) to meet the Lions in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 6-11. Langtree Charter Academy lost 77-64 in their recent league battle against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC)

The Lions now own a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, January 30. Lake Norman Christian will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 60-42 non-league win over Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-8.
