Oklahoma High School Basketball - Hennessey holds off Davenport
January 25, 2025: Hennessey, OK 73742 The Hennessey Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Davenport Bulldogs to 57 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cashion for a Three Rivers game on Tuesday, January 28. Hennessey will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Fairview (Fairview, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-6.
With the loss, Davenport falls to 11-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Depew (Depew, OK) to confront the Hornets in a Central 7 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 6-9. Depew lost 47-42 in their recent league game against Oilton (Oilton, OK)
