Illinois High School Basketball - Easton Valley toppled by Fulton
January 25, 2025: Fulton, IL 61252 Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad prevail over the visiting Easton Valley (Preston, IA), 60-41 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Fulton advances its record to 10-12 on the year. The Steamers host Polo (Polo, IL) to meet the Marcos in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Marcos enter the battle with a record of 8-10. Polo won 48-45 in their recent non-league battle against West Carroll (Savanna, IL)
The now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lisbon for a Tri-Rivers battle on Tuesday, January 28. Easton Valley will meet a Lions squad coming off a 62-55 league win over Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Lions record now stands at 10-5.
