January 25, 2025: Eunice, LA 70535 Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Ville Platte Bulldogs (Ville Platte, LA), 64-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Eunice upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA) to face the Charging Indians in a 4A District 3 match on Friday, January 31. The Charging Indians enter the match with a record of 10-14. Washington-Marion lost 59-56 in their recent non-league match against Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA)
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walker for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Ville Platte will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-42 non-league loss to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-15.
