With the victory, Frederick Douglass advances its record to 15-2 on the year. The Broncos travel to Bryan Station (Lexington, KY) to face the Defenders in a District 42 match on Friday, January 31. The Defenders enter the match with a record of 17-3.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Jessamine for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Paul Laurence Dunbar will face a Colts squad coming off a 58-42 league loss to Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY). The Colts record now stands at 6-7.
