In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Higbee Tigers basketball team scored a close 57-52 triumph over the Stover Bulldogs.

The Tigers (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick (Brunswick, MO). The Wildcats go into the CLAA contest with a 15-1 record.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Northwest Mustangs (Hughesville, MO) in a Kaysinger contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Stover will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record.
