January 25, 2025: Newark, NJ 07107 Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ), 64-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Payne Tech advances its record to 11-5 on the year. The Lions host East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 8-7. East Orange Campus won 75-59 in their recent league match against Irvington (Irvington, NJ)
The Dodgers now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kinnelon for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Madison will meet a Colts squad coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to West Milford (West Milford, NJ). The Colts record now stands at 3-10.
