New Jersey High School Basketball - Manchester Township can't get by St. John-Vianney
January 25, 2025: Lakehurst, NJ 08733 St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ), 48-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. John-Vianney advances its record to 4-12 on the year. The Lancers travel to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ) to meet the Bucs in a Shore A - Central match on Tuesday, January 28. The Bucs enter the match with a record of 13-2. Red Bank Regional lost 51-49 in their recent non-league match against Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ)
The Hawks now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Regional for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Manchester Township will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 60-35 non-league win over Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 15-1.
