In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Sandy Creek Comets basketball team scored a close 62-55 win over the New York Mills Marauders.

The Comets (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Beavers come into the Section 3 Frontier C contest with a 12-2 record.
