The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Wheeler County Bulldogs (Alamo, GA) and the visiting Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA), observed Wheeler County's basketball team knock off Telfair County by a score of 74-54.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA). The Patriots come into the A D2 Region 4 challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Wilcox County was knocked off by Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 71-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Treutlen Vikings (Soperton, GA) in a A D2 Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Telfair County will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 77-49 non-league loss to East Laurens (East Dublin, GA).
