California High School Basketball - Tennyson held off by El Cerrito

In Saturday's non-league test, the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), by a score of 40-34.

Next, the Gauchos encounter the Hercules Titans (Hercules, CA) in a test, on Wednesday, February 5. El Cerrito will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.

The Lancers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Jets come into the test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Encinal held off Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA), 50-31, in a league test.
