Minnesota High School Basketball - Chatfield defeats Southland
January 25, 2025: Chatfield, MN 55923 The Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) basketball were winner over the visiting Southland Rebels (Adams, MN), 70-60 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Gophers now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles for a AA Section 1 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Chatfield will play a Fighting Saints team coming off a 87-60 league loss to Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, Southland falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN) to play the Cardinals in a A Section 1 bout on Monday, January 27. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-15. LeRoy-Ostrander lost 64-50 in their recent non-league bout against Loyola (Mankato, MN)
