Oklahoma High School Basketball - Varnum victorious over Clinton
January 25, 2025: Clinton, OK 73601 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Varnum Whippets basketball team scored a good 57-49 triumph over the Clinton Red Tornadoes.
The Whippets (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sasakwa (Sasakwa, OK). The Vikings go into the Little River contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Sasakwa was toppled by Buffalo Valley (Talihina, OK), 65-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Tornadoes confront the Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK) in a Western contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Clinton will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Bronchos go into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 54-43 non-league win over Purcell (Purcell, OK).
