Ohio High School Basketball - Grand Valley triumphant over Conneaut
January 25, 2025: Orwell, OH 44076 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) and the visiting Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH), observed Grand Valley's basketball team overwhelm Conneaut by a score of 74-48.
The Mustangs (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH). The Skippers come into the Northeastern - Stars challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Harding was routed by Grand Valley (Orwell, OH), 61-9, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Conneaut will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Fighting Herald come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 64-15 non-league loss to Cardinal (Middlefield, OH).
