Oklahoma High School Basketball - Tonkawa defeats Marietta
January 25, 2025: Tonkawa, OK 74653 The Tonkawa Buccaneers (Tonkawa, OK) basketball were winner over the visiting Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK), 44-26 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Morrison for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Tonkawa will play a Wildcats team coming off a 63-36 non-league loss to Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-10.
With the loss, Marietta falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Indians host Dickson (Ardmore, OK) to play the Comets in a Lake Country bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Dickson won 71-16 in their recent non-league bout against Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College (Oklahoma City, OK)
