Illinois High School Basketball - Resurrection triumphant over Schaumburg
January 25, 2025: Chicago, IL 60631 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), observed Resurrection's basketball team overwhelm Schaumburg by a score of 48-23.
The Bandits (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Maine West (Des Plaines, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 8-14 record. In their last challenge, Maine West trounced Niles North (Skokie, IL), 50-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Saxons battle the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Schaumburg will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 61-51 league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL).
