Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - St. Joseph holds off Trumbull
January 25, 2025: Trumbull, CT 06611 In Saturday's league contest, the host St. Joseph Cadets ice hockey team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Trumbull Eagles.
The Cadets (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT). The Tigers go into the FCIAC contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Ridgefield was nipped by Darien (Darien, CT), 3-1, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles play the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Trumbull will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to East Catholic (Manchester, CT).
