New Mexico High School Basketball - Cottonwood Classical Prep overwhelms Santa Fe Prep
January 25, 2025: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins to 17 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Coyotes now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sandia Prep for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Cottonwood Classical Prep will confront a Sundevils team coming off a 50-41 non-league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Santa Fe Prep falls to 1-6 on the season. The Blue griffins travel to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 28. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Santa Fe Indian lost 66-51 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
