January 26, 2022: Palos Heights, IL 60463 Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), 44-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Chicago Christian upgrades its record to 6-18 on the season. The Knights travel to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Metro Suburban bout on Friday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Riverside-Brookfield won 64-50 in their recent league bout against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)
Next up, the Astros play the Holy Trinity Tigers (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 27. Shepard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record.
