In Wednesday's league outing, the Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Potsdam Sandstoners (Potsdam, NY), by a margin of 68-54.

The Huskies (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY). The Wildcats go into the Section 10 Central outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Gouverneur defeated Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY), 72-29, in a league outing.

The Sandstoners now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Norwood-Norfolk for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 29. Potsdam will clash with a Flyers squad coming off a 43-40 league win over Morristown Central (Morristown, NY). The Flyers record now stands at 2-9.
