In Wednesday's non-league match, the host White Mountains Spartans basketball team scored a tight 37-32 triumph over the Groveton Eagles.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the Inter-Lakes Lakers (Meredith, NH) in a Division III match, on Thursday, January 27. White Mountains will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record.
