The McConnellsburg Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Tussey Mountain Titans to 38 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fannett Metal for a Inter County - South contest on Friday, January 28. McConnellsburg will battle a team coming off a 64-24 league win over Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA). The record now stands at 7-6.
The Titans (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA). The Panthers enter the Inter County - South contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Northern Bedford County triumphed over Glendale (Flinton, PA), 50-37, in a non-league contest.
