Washington High School Basketball - Rogers holds off Emerald Ridge
January 26, 2022: South Hill, WA 98374 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rogers Rams (Puyallup, WA) and the host Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA), saw Rogers's basketball squad hold off Emerald Ridge by a tally of 52-50.
With the victory, Rogers improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA) to confront the Eagles in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge on Friday, January 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Graham-Kapowsin lost 61-22 in their recent league challenge against Bethel (Spanaway, WA)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Bellarmine Prep Lions (Tacoma, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound challenge, on Friday, January 28. Emerald Ridge will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 67-51 league win over South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA).
