Maine High School Basketball - Old Town overwhelms Houlton
January 26, 2022: Houlton, ME 04730 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME) and the host Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME), saw Old Town's basketball squad wallop Houlton by a count of 59-33.
With the victory, Old Town upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to play the Ponies in a B North challenge on Friday, January 28. The Ponies come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Foxcroft Academy won 52-23 in their recent league challenge against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME)
Next up, the Shiretowners play the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a B North challenge, on Saturday, January 29. Houlton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
