The South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), 62-20 in Wednesday's league test.

The Sauras (14-1) will now prepare for their test against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals go into the test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, East Wilkes was trounced by Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC), 55-49, in a non-league test.

The Buckin' Elks now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Starmount for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 1.
