Delaware High School Basketball - Appoquinimink nips Cape Henlopen
January 26, 2023: West Middletown, DE 19709 Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE), 60-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Appoquinimink upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Salesianum (Wilmington, DE) to play the Sallies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Sallies come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Salesianum won 68-46 in their recent non-league bout against Smyrna (Smyrna, DE)
Next up, the Vikings play the Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Cape Henlopen will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 52-46 non-league win over Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE).
