Minnesota High School Basketball - Perham crushes Barnesville
January 26, 2023: Barnesville, MN 56514 Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN), 69-40 in a league bout.
With the victory, Perham upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Watertown-Mayer lost 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Annandale (Annandale, MN)
Next up, the Trojans play the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines (Wadena, MN) in a AA Section 8 bout, on Monday, January 30. Barnesville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 60-49 non-league win over New York Mills (New York Mills, MN).
