January 26, 2023: Manhattan, KS 66502 The Blue Valley Tigers (Stilwell, KS) basketball felled the host Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS), 67-59 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Blues go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Washburn Rural thwarted Olathe East (Olathe, KS), 59-34, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hayden for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Manhattan will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-51 non-league loss to Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-7.
