Iowa High School Basketball - CAM nips Stanton
January 26, 2023: Anita, IA 50020 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) and the visiting Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA), saw CAM's basketball squad hold off Stanton by a count of 77-70.
With the victory, CAM upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Boyer Valley won 72-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Griswold (Griswold, IA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Essex Trojans (Essex, IA) in a Corner challenge, on Friday, January 27. Stanton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 69-29 non-league loss to Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] (Burlington Junction, MO).
