January 26, 2023: Gilbert, AZ 85292 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) and the host Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), saw Casteel's basketball squad overcome Williams Field by a tally of 57-41.
With the victory, Casteel improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Pride in a 5A San Tan challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 11-11. Mountain Pointe won 73-71 in their recent league challenge against Higley (Gilbert, AZ)
Next up, the Black Hawks confront the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 5A San Tan challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Williams Field will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 74-58 league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ).
