January 26, 2023: Inman, SC 29349 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors (Spartanburg, SC) and the host Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC), saw Spartanburg Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Chapman by a tally of 61-56.
With the victory, Spartanburg Christian Academy improves its record to 4-18 on the campaign. The Warriors host Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC) to confront the Hawks in a SCISA AAA Region III challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 9-9. Greenwood Christian won 91-85 in their recent league battle against Oakbrook Prep (Spartanburg, SC)
The Panthers (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC). The Devildogs come into the AAA Region 3 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Travelers Rest edged Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC), 50-33, in a league battle.
