With the victory, Joppatowne improves its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Mariners host Elkton (Elkton, MD) to confront the Golden Elks in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake challenge on Friday, January 27. The Golden Elks come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Elkton won 62-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Oxford (Oxford, PA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Coppin Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 50-44 league win over Parkside (Washington, DC).
