Tennessee High School Basketball - Evangelical Christian crushes Halls
January 26, 2023: Halls, TN 38040 Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Halls Tigers (Halls, TN), 74-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Evangelical Christian upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. George's (Collierville, TN) to play the Gryphons in a Division II-A West District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Gryphons go into the bout with a record of 10-9. St. George's lost 68-60 in their recent league bout against Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS)
Next up, the Tigers play the Middleton Tigers (Middleton, TN) in a 1A District 14 bout, on Friday, January 27. Halls will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 15-1 record after their 68-22 non-league win over Adamsville (Adamsville, TN).
