January 26, 2023: Fair Lawn, NJ 07410 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) and the visiting Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ), saw Fair Lawn's basketball squad hold off Rutherford by a tally of 47-45.
With the victory, Fair Lawn improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Cutters travel to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ) to play the Patriots in a Big North - Independence challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Wayne Hills lost 63-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 29. Rutherford will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 75-40 non-league win over People's Prep (Newark, NJ).
