The Holy Family Catholic Tornadoes (Birmingham, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL), 68-52 in Thursday's league contest.

The Tornadoes now sport a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Holy Family Catholic will battle a Eagles team coming off a 49-44 league loss to Talladega County Central (Talladega, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.

The Knights (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles enter the 2A Area 8 contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone was defeated by Leeds (Leeds, AL), 63-60, in a non-league contest.
