The Model Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Jackson City Tigers to 45 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henry County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Model will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 68-54 non-league loss to Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-17.

The Tigers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-17 record.
