Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge nudges Keyser

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball squad edged the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), by a margin of 65-62.

The Miners (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies go into the Appalachian outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Northern was tipped by Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 72-26, in a league outing.

The Golden Tornado now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host East Fairmont for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. Keyser will clash with a Bees squad coming off a 75-45 league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Bees record now stands at 12-1.
