Idaho High School Basketball - Murtaugh nips Lighthouse Christian
January 26, 2023: Murtaugh, ID 83344 Murtaugh Red Devils (Murtaugh, ID) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lighthouse Christian Lions (Twin Falls, ID), 52-48 in a league bout.
With the victory, Murtaugh upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Castleford (Castleford, ID) to play the Wolves in a 1A Snake River bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 7-3.
Next up, the Lions play the Oakley Hornets (Oakley, ID) in a 1A Snake River bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Lighthouse Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 47-26 league win over Glenns Ferry (Glenns Ferry, ID).
