New Jersey High School Basketball - NV - Demarest holds off Lyndhurst
January 26, 2023: Demarest, NJ 07456 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the NV - Demarest Norsemen (Demarest, NJ) and the visiting Lyndhurst Golden Bears (Lyndhurst, NJ), saw NV - Demarest's basketball squad hold off Lyndhurst by a tally of 62-59.
With the victory, NV - Demarest improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Norsemen host Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ) to confront the Panthers in a Big North - National challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4.
Next up, the Golden Bears confront the Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National challenge, on Monday, January 30. Lyndhurst will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record.
