South Carolina High School Basketball - Williston-Elko thwarts Pelion
January 26, 2023: Pelion, SC 29123 The Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) basketball knocked off the host Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC), 53-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Trojans go into the A Region 4 test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, Ridge Spring-Monetta went down by Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC), 64-48, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Fox Creek for a AA Region 3 test on Tuesday, January 31. Pelion will encounter a Predators squad coming off a 44-42 league loss to Silver Bluff (Aiken, SC). The Predators record now stands at 13-12.
