Illinois High School Basketball - Rowe-Clark holds off UIC College Prep
January 26, 2023: Chicago, IL 60651 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Rowe-Clark Masai Lions (Chicago, IL) and the visiting UIC College Prep Firecats (Chicago, IL), saw Rowe-Clark's basketball squad hold off UIC College Prep by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, Rowe-Clark improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Masai Lions host ITW David Speer Academy (Chicago, IL) to confront the Pride in a Noble challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 1-11. ITW David Speer Academy lost 59-27 in their recent league challenge against Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Firecats confront the Senn Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. UIC College Prep will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 38-35 league loss to Amundsen (Chicago, IL).
